A more effective approach to physiotherapy in DEVON and CORNWALL

Are you struggling with pain, injury or other issues such as back, neck, joint or muscle conditions? Whether your problem is new or ongoing, we will help you recover quickly and with lasting results – so you can get back to doing the things you love.

Welcome to Transform Health

We provide physiotherapy with a difference in Exeter, Truro and across Devon and Cornwall, giving you the tools you need to overcome pain, regain your health and understand how to prevent it happening again.

Make no mistake, we know pain can be brutal. Whatever the cause, it can often affect your day to day activities, becoming uncomfortable, or even unmanageable, forcing you to change your behaviour and routine to accommodate this.

Working together, we guide you towards recovery from your pain as swiftly as possible, even when you have had lots of previous treatments from lots of clinicians without success.

This modern approach to physiotherapy in Exeter, Truro and across Devon & Cornwall, is based on the latest research on what causes pain. Unlike traditional treatments, we go beyond your immediate symptoms to look at all the factors that may be contributing to your pain.

We have a proven track record applying this method to a wide range of problems, including:

  • Musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain, neck pain or knee and shoulder pain, and other joint or muscle problems.
  • Sports injuries
  • Post-op rehabilitation following injury, hip replacement, knee replacement, fractures, spinal surgery, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, shoulder surgery or ankle surgery

The results? Faster pain reduction, with fewer treatments, lower costs and longer-lasting outcomes, leaving you free to get back to living your life as normal.

Physiotherapy in Exeter, Devon and Cornwall: Guiding You to a Better Outcome

There are many myths about pain:

  • Pain is always caused by a triggering ‘event’, such as illness or injury
  • As we get older, aches and pains are to be expected as our bodies deal with wear and tear
  • Regular hands-on treatments such as manual therapy, acupuncture and massage – or medical interventions such as prescription painkillers, injections and surgery – are the only way to relieve pain

Luckily, for the vast majority of people, this isn’t true.

We don’t need to adjust our lives to deal with pain, spend lots of time or money on repeated treatments, or feel that surgery is our only route back to normal.

The latest research shows that pain is more complex than that. We practise a progression of traditional physiotherapy called Cognitive Functional Therapy, which looks at all the pieces of the puzzle for much more effective results.

This provides solutions that are tailored to your unique situation, guiding you through the healing process so you can get back to where you want to be.

Don't just take our word for it

For the first time in months I am able to put on my socks without tension and pain and all because he said I could do it. Neil advised me at the end of our meeting that all being well it was unlikely I would need to see him again. How refreshing is that!!
